For me, Léa Augereau was one of those rare “suggested” Instagram (@lea_augereau) finds that actually turned out to be inspiring. Her feed, from her artwork to “behind the artist” style photos are capturing. Her overall vibe was an amazing match to what I connect with, and I can honestly say she may be my new favorite artist.

I love the use of boxy shapes and earth-tone colors throughout Lea’s work. I am impressed and overjoyed about the diversity in the women she portrays. They are modern women with vintage style, living their best lives. Honestly, goals.

Léa Augereau, born in La Rochelle and currently residing in Paris, is a designer and painter. Her works span from clothing to painting to weaving, inspired by culture, nature, cinema and art deco spaces.
